'This' is an improvisational unit consisting of pianist Misa Shimomura and violinist Saikou Miyajima that is actively performing in the Kansai area. The duo played against the backdrop of the film 'Ask the Wind', a documentary about the duo by filmmaker Ayako Mogi who resides in Munich. Cool footage by Werner Penzel, the filmmaker who shot 'Step Across the Border', was also presented. It was a night to immerse yourself in the world of 'This'.
